Sims 4 keeps crashing with mods

Been playing Sims 4 since day one. Downloaded a bunch of mods and the game was working no problem. Stopped playing for a bit then started playing again today. Told me I needed to do an update so I did. Now the game keeps crashing... I moved all my mods out of the Mods folder and the game loaded up fine.... but the game used to work fine even with all these mods.... haven't downloaded any new mods since the last time I played... only thing new is that update I did!

    Some mods are created to "fix" bugs that crop up in the game, however when the patches/updates are released by EA they can conflict with the Mods that you may play with because the game code has changed. You should check with the places you got the Mods from and make sure they have updated to the latest patch. If they haven't, you'll just have either wait until they do or play without them.

    As a side note, whenever a new patch is released you should always remove your mods and slowly add them back in to make sure they do not cause your game to crash.

    I know this was Long ago but I still don’t get how to fix mine, Yes I do have mods in a file and the sims 4 won’t let me use it..
