Sims 4 keeps saying I need to update it

I installed the new update for Sims 4 (the pool update) and every time I try to play it keeps saying that I need to update it again.  I click the update button and then it says that it has already been updated.  If I click cancel it doesn't do anything but return me to the my Origin games library. How can I fix this?!

  • I had the same thing. I right-clicked on the icon and said "check for updates" and then it worked.

You may also have to log out of Origin and back in again.

You can also try right clicking and hitting repair!

I am having this issue. I have updated it, tried to repair it,  tried logging in and out., and I have uninstalled and re installed origin on my computer and nothing is working. What should I do?

  • I finally got mine to work by uninstalling then reinstalling the Origin client. Hope that works for you, as well!
