Hi there,
I completed the last step you sent over. Unfortunately with everything disabled it was still causing my internet to completely disconnect on launch when in a game.
I also updated my WiFi card drivers, disabled the wifi when trying through ethernet. I also reached out the EA customer support and the (very lovely) support officer on the other end tried a few things and we could not fix it. He's moved the ticket over to the concern team for feedback. But I'm unsure if they will pick the ticket up to help fix.
- Hit Windows key and X.
- Choose "Terminal (Administrator)".
- Execute this commands in order: (You can just copy and paste them into the Terminal Window.)
"netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled" (without the quotes) press ENTER"
"netsh winsock reset" (without the quotes) press ENTER
"netsh int ip reset" (without the quotes) press ENTER
"ipconfig /release" (without the quotes) press ENTER
"ipconfig /renew" (without the quotes) press ENTER
"ipconfig /flushdns" (without the quotes) press ENTER > Reboot > Test
If the problem is gone or not, after the test you should use this:
"netsh int tcp set heuristics enabled" (without the quotes) press ENTER
If that still don't helps:
Disable power-saving for the Network adapter in the Device Manager.
(Right click the network adapter in the Device Manager > Power Management > Disable "Allow the computer to disable this device to save power" > Click "OK" > Test
Restart your Router:
1. Pull the power plug.
2. Wait five minutes.
3. Reconnect the power plug.
4. Test.
Check the firewall settings for the game.
Contact your ISP and ask if they see a problem in your connection.
