Sims 4 Limited Edition - Disc installation

Have purchased the Sims 4 Limited edition and am trying to install from the discs, there are two discs, put in disc 1 and it wants me to create an origin account which I have done and then it starts to download the game???  If I have purchased the discs shouldn't it install from the discs, why are there two discs? I just want to play the game from the disc not from the origin website.  My understanding is that with the physical disc installation you only need the internet for the product activation.... can someone please reply

    If I redeem my code for the digital can I still redeem it with the disc? what's the difference between the digital and the disc?

    Once you have redeemed your code on Origin you can either downlaod the game via the Origin client or install it via the disc. Doesn't matter which method you choose.

    With the disc, you won't need to download anything (except patches) as all the data is on the disc.

    Other than that, they are the same.

    I am struggling to install the game coz there is nothing that says install other than buying it from origin. I was on my computor for 3 hours today and nothing helped. Please someone make a detailed instuctions list

    On question 4, I couldnt find and activate sims 4 things nor did I have any pop ups telling me to put in my code
