Sims 4 mods will not work! HELP PLEASE!

I've posted this in the Sims 4 Forms. I've got advice but it never worked. I need more help so here's what my problem is. My game wasn't loading it kept on crashing so I had to clear cashe that I didn't know about. I cleared the useless things. I went back into the game and it worked a lot better. It wasn't crashing but I did have mods. They aren't working now. I don't know what I did but it's not working. I have everything in the right folder. Right place. It just stopped working for some reason and it sucks I got rid of most of my sims because they all had mods/cc. I checked mods and scriped mods are enabled. I just don't know what to do. I restarted everything I just don't know what to do.

are you using oneDrive ? If so, could you check if you also have a Sims folder there ? The game might be using that one.

I don't use OneDrive at all. Any other ideas?

Hi there, it's a little hard to understand fully.. but here's some ideas based on what I can 'glean' from your description.

1: If you mean your mods can't be found in your game but you have them in the correct sims 4 folder; then it still could mean that you have broken cc or game mod that is stopping them from working.  As you say it doesn't 'crash' but you still have problems.

2: You'll have to remove the cc / mod folders one by one to find the broken one (by restarting the game each time) that is stopping the rest from being 'seen / working' in game.

3: There has been a huge amount of cc and mods becoming broken since the Cats and Dogs package, Sims VIP have made a huge posting on broken and updated mods and cc; worth checking through that list.

4: If you mean your cc have vanished.. try checking your recycle bin?

    Hope this helps,

    Sasha

nb: it could help if you upload a few small screenshots (by clicking the little picture icon when answering) of your Sims 4 Game: folders / path.
