Sims 4 Needs Stuck and Not Decaying

The needs bars of my sims are stuck on full and never decay. 

 

Notes:

  • Began after installing Seasons
  • Problem persisted after REINSTALLING the base game and all expansion packs
  • Problem persisted after using resetSim cheat
  • Affects every Sim in world 
  • I do not use any mods
  • I have not used the full needs cheat
  • My PC meets system requirements

Please help; this is really frustrating, especially after having pre-ordered Seasons only to not be able to play the game properly now. ☹️

    Some people saying the resetsim cheat is one of the cheats that are no longer working for them. It works for me so, I'm not sure.

    When you reinstalled, was your entire user folder removed and a new one created ?

    Do you also have issues with the autonomy of the Sims ?

    • Does it happen to ALL of your Sims or just some of them ?
    • Does not using any mods also include not using any custom content ?
    • Do you have the same issue if you start a new save for testing purposes ?

    - Yes, it happens to all sims in a household and even other households when I switch active households
    - I do not use custom content either. I used to and never had a problem with this but I have since removed that mod folder.
    - Even after reinstalling the game which deleted all of my previous saves, the problem still persisted on a new game.

    EDIT: also, when using "resetSim" I get a "sim not found" error message! Maybe this will help with pinpointing the problem.
