SIMS 4 Newcrest - Can't place/build lots, sometimes can't play HELP

I downloaded Newcrest recently and everything was fine. When I decided to start placing lots from the gallery onto Newcrest, all that would happen was me placing them, then the loading screen appearing and loading and then the world management screen would appear! When I click Newcrest and go back to it, the lot is gone.
After that, I realised I can't place ANY lot on ANY neighbourhood and I can't build either! Now not only does that happen but when I want to actually play, I click play, the loading screen appears then the neighbourhood I'm in appears, I click the button on my family's house to play and sometimes it works sometimes it just goes back to the world management screen!
I've restarted my computer many times, I've deleted items in my gallery, I've deleted previous gameplays to no avail. What do I do?! I tried a creating a new game as well, everything was fine so I decided to place a lot and it worked! When I tried to replace that lot with another house all the problems started again.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

    Hopefully! I'm anxiously awaiting the next patch if this doesn't fix itself

    That's great! I had done that before but then everything else stopped working as well; will try this again though.

    Could you please edit your posts if you have something to add in a very short amount of time and no one else has answered.

    Just click on Options on the post and then edit.

    My game seems to be fixed now, once I'd finished building my house on world mode and moved my sims in, the build button started working again.

    I have this problem too, but it's spread to every world - so now my entire game is completely unplayable! I don't have any mods installed, just the Get to Work expansion pack,  so it's presumably a glitch associated with the new world or the expansion itself.

    Bugs spread from save game to save game if you don't completely shut of the game inbetween. Don't just go to the main menu. Shut down the game, restart and try new save game.

    I can't play at all either.  Everything was working fine for me until the first night, last night I decided to go and build a retail store in Newcrest.  I worked on it for a while and saved a few times, and then all of a sudden the last save the game crashed.  After that, I tried to get back into Sims 4 and the game keeps crashing.  I rebooted the computer, still the game crashes.  I've been doing a Sims 4 repair all day.  I don't know if it will help.  Bummed I can't play at all tonight.

    Also the repair percentage is digressing?  I don't know if it's supposed to that, as I haven't repaired before.  Perhaps, it's repairing each expansion pack?  I have Sims 4, Get to Work, Seasons and Outdoor Retreat.

    Note:  I do not have any mods.

    I appreciate any help!
