Sims 4 not acknowledging the packs I own on The EA app

They appear in game as owned, they appear on the launcher as installed but the game will not let me use any of their content or uninstall and reinstall the content

  • @Thatonenerd2003  Try clearing the EA App's cache:

    https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/

and repairing the game (again, if you have already): open your game library, hover over the Sims 4 icon, click the three dots, and select Repair.

If that doesn't help, do you own any content through Steam, and if so, are you launching Sims 4 through Steam or the EA App?  Please also run a search on your computer for a couple of the missing packs.  Open a File Explorer window, click This PC in the left panel, and enter EP01 in the search field in the upper-right corner.  (EP01 is Get to Work, the first expansion released.)  Wait for the search to finish, then make sure the full file path is showing under each instance of EP01.  If it's not, expand the window sideways.

Take a screenshot using Windows key-shift-S, and upload it to a reply here.  Then repeat the process for EP05 (that refers to Seasons) and post those results too.
