Sims 4 not showing up in Origin

So I haven't played The Sims 4 in about three weeks or so and when I tried playing it today it wasn't in My Games. The only thing that was there was the Create A Sim demo in its place. Help?

  • @fruit-ninja-teto Try this:

The game no longer shows up in Origin

    Try the following things:

    • Restart Origin.
    • Log out and back in and use the email address instead of the user name. Make sure to use the one you used to register the game in the first place.
    • Reinstall Origin.
    • Restart your router/modem.
    • Make sure the game isn't hidden by accident. To check, put the filter to Hidden Games. If it's there, right-click on the game to unhide ((click on the spoiler below to view an exemplary screenshot))
    • Get in touch with an EA Game Advisor.

All your expansions, game packs and stuff packs go under one picture in Origin. Follow these steps:
    - Go to the 'my games' tab in Origin.
    - Hover over your 'The Sims 4'.
You'll see a little screen come up with an 'i' and a 'play/download/install' button.
    - Click on the 'i', you'll be taken to a different screen.
    - Scroll a bit down and there you'll see all your expansions, game packs and stuff packs.

And right click the game in Origin and choose 'repair game' to see if the missing files will be added again.
Also you can uninstall and reinstall through Origin, just log in to the account you first registered with and you'll find the game over there in the 'My games' section. If not, see above.

I'm having the same issue but not with the basegame but The sims 4 Get to work.. The game itself is unplayable cause somehow the files are missing and it keeps crashing.

I tried to redeem my code in origin but it says it's already used, which is true since i've played the game before. Any solution for this?

    Thanks

  • @Chlojane98xx Yeah, it works now, turns out I just had to use my email to log into Origin instead of my username c:

I tried doing these and nothing will work I can't even click on show hidden games

  • Mine has been doing this for a year. I’ve done everything these “heros” say to do, to no avail. I never have the option for live chat for a game advisor, only the email option and I’ve sent at least a dozen emails within the year time period that this has been happening. It’s infuriating. Nothing works. It’s as if I never bought the game. And no, it isn’t under “hidden games,” logging out and back in did nothing, restarting my wifi did nothing. Everything recommended has done nothing and it’s absolutely ridiculous. So glad I spent as much money as I did on The Sims for EA to decide I never made these purchases.
