Sims 4 not starting

Not sure if anyone else is dealing with this problem, but my games will not load. I am able to get to the world menu, but as soon as I launch a household (new or saved), it just brings me right back to the worlds menu. This has been going on for a few days, tried just about everything to get it fixed, but still wont work :((((
