SIMS 4 ORIGIN DOWNLOAD INCOMPLETE MACBOOK VERSION

Downloaded Sims4 from Origin, once I click on install, it then asks what language I want the game to be in- the drop down menu doesn't work, so I leave the field blank and click continue, only to have it supposedly 100% install but actually doesn't and then I get the same options over and over again.

SO far I have:

- updated and reinstalled Origin

-Logged out and back in

*CURRENTLY awaiting EA chat support

(I'm on a MAC so their helpful tip of installing a microsoft office visual studio isnt the issue either)

I had a similar problem with my mac, but the orange install button wouldn't work at all. I found out that the operating system on my mac is too old. I believe it requires 10.7.5 or later. Also I had to wait a million years to try to get someone to help me on live chat, having them call you is a much faster option.

The game wouldn't actually install, so I couldn't "uninstall" the game. The download is there in my Origin game folder and then clicking install it would say 100% after 1 second and then from there nothing else would happen.
My Mac software is new and I have plenty of room on my harddrive. I tried downloading this last December and had the same issues.

Ended up requesting a refund. Guess until I have a PC no Sims4 for me ☹️

If only they made more disc copies of the game. These online downloads are sometimes a fail

The Mac version wasn't out last December, did you have this problem on a PC or on a Boot Camp partition on your Mac/VM?

Please can you be more specific about your Mac? Click on the Apple icon in the top left corner of your desktop and select About This Mac. Please provide the following information (you may need to click on More Info depending on what operating system you're running:

    - Operating System (Version)
    - Mac model
    - Processor
    - Memory (RAM)
    - Graphics

    - Are you running any antivirus?
    - Do you have Time Machine/Spotify/Dropbox or similar running?
