Sims 4 Origin: This code has already been used

I bought sims 4 (disc version) a couple of months ago and I have been playing it on my laptop. I bought a new desktop and want to play it on here so today I put the disc 1 into the computer and logged into my origin account. The game doesn't show up in my games so I clicked redeem product code and typed the code. It says however 'this code has already been used.' I want to play it, i logged onto my origin account on my laptop and the game doesnt even show on there anymore and I can't redeem the code as I already used it when I bought the game. Why is this happening?! So frustrating!!!!

  • If the game is no longer shows up on your Origin client, please try the following things

    • Restart Origin
    • Log out and back in and use the email address instead of the username. Make sure to use the one you used to register the game in the first place
    • Reinstall Origin
    • Restart your router/modem,
    • Get in touch with a game advisor.
