Forum Discussion
I tried playing Sims 4 on another computer & plugged in the flashdrive it's installed on, but Origin keeps telling me to download the game. (The same issue with Sims City. At least, the games appear in my list.)
Just yesterday it worked (with the same flashdrive) on my laptop.
The game is installed, I can see the files. And play the games on my laptop. I changed the Origin library to the folder the game is in but Origin doesn't want to find the installation.
How can I make Origin find my games? I obviously don't want to download 16 or what GB again, just because Origin is too bugged.

@marietheresmai,
Uninstall Origin and install older versions of Origin 10.4.12Turn on game.
AFTER this update the Origin,
If the game is not found after installing the older version of Origin, unfortunately you will have to download the game again using this older version of Origin, and later update The Origin,
I don't work for EA

Rightclick the game in Origin and Select Repair.

@marietheresmai @jpkarlsen
This problem is related to the one described here and is caused by Origin
