@EA_SolaireFirst off on the EA app I do not have 3 dots in the upper right...I can however get to manage add ons and yes it says that everything is installed.
The content is just not showing in game. My ghoulish guitar is no where to be found...I can only make a mermaid from the occult button...I can not make a wizard or a werewolf.
There is no rain. I am not on the digital deluxe version.
I have talked to online chat, through emails. and to CS on the phone so many times now and all I get is blah blah blah.
I have repaired the game at least 10 times and all I get on the play page is restart to use.
This has been going on for at least 3 weeks now and I was playing the digital deluxe version until I paid for EA Play so now I am playing the EA version...I am beyond frustrated.
Any help you can offer would be appreciated...thank you
@ryeewhiskee For any pack with missing content, please delete the folder for that pack. They'll all be in the game's program files, specifically in [install location]\The Sims 4; that install location might be Program Files\EA Games or Program Files (x86)\Origin Games, or a custom install location if you chose one. The packs' folders are as follows:
Get to Work: EP01
Seasons: EP05
Realm of Magic: GP08
Werewolves: GP12
Spooky Stuff: SP04
I'm not sure about the guitar, but if you see an FP02 pack, that would be it. (FP01 is the holiday celebration pack, F standing for free.) Once you've deleted these folders, clear the cache for whichever app you want to use (again) and redownload the packs.

If this doesn't work, create a new folder on your computer, on the root level of the drive you want to use (as in, it's not within another folder; its file path is just C:\Games or whatever name you choose). Open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, select Move Game, and choose the folder you created. Once Origin has finished the process, repair again and then see whether your content shows up.

@puzzlezaddictWell, I cleared the cache..I was asked to download it all again. I did that and now on the sims page it is asking me to restart to use...no matter how many times I restart it keeps telling me to restart...I just don't get it.
There are none of the folders you mentioned in my EA games folder except the ones for cottage and Island and the Free pack 01.
As far as Orgin goes I can't even find the file for that anymore and I am not tech savvy enough to do that (well I might be) but I can't find a folder that reads Orgin which is strange since I was playing on Orgin...
I will keep working on it but I might have to give up ☹️
Thank you for your time in this matter*edit to add* When I first bought Cottage and Island they would not work on EA and I had to DL them on Orgin first then come back to EA...Since they are closing the doors on Orgin I can't even seem to log in there so like I said I am lost!

@puzzlezaddictI found all those files but they are not in the sims4 folder they are in the sims 4 create a sims demo folder...do I now proceed as you said by deleting those files even though they seem to not be in the right folder?

@ryeewhiskee Before deleting anything, please post a screenshot of the contents of this folder so I can see what you're dealing with here.
- Ryeewhiskee3 years agoSeasoned Novice@puzzlezaddict Ok but it won't be for about an hour. I have to run down the street and help someone. Hopefully you will still be around
- Ryeewhiskee3 years agoSeasoned Novice@puzzlezaddict Not sure how to add it here as it won't let me
Local disk C>Program files>EA Games>The sims 4 create a sims demo
Hope that helps - puzzlezaddict3 years agoHero+
@ryeewhiskee You should be able to upload any image that's a reasonable size. A fraction of your screen snipped with Windows key-shift-S should be fine.
Regardless, your packs shouldn't be in the CAS demo folder, and it's no wonder that the EA App is confused here. What I would suggest is uninstalling the entire game as well as the CAS demo and reinstalling into a different location, using Origin as it's more reliable at this point.
If you can't uninstall Sims 4 and the CAS demo with Origin or the EA App, use Revo Uninstaller to remove the games.
If for some reason you want to keep the CAS demo, uninstall and reinstall just Sims 4, through Origin. When reinstalling, choose a different folder as the location (under Applications > Installs & Saves), just to be thorough. I'd suggest this anyway as the next step if deleting the pack folders didn't help.

- Ryeewhiskee3 years agoSeasoned NoviceThank you for that link! They are now down loading on Origin so I am thinking this will work...will let you know but if I forget to stay it you rock!
- Ryeewhiskee3 years agoSeasoned Novice@puzzlezaddict Ok I down loaded them all on Orgin and now they are working on EA...which by the way is the same thing I had to do for Cottage and Island...after I heard that Orgin was closing I deleted it from my computer and try as I might I could not find a link to DL it again so again...thank you for that link!
I will not delete Orgin again, lol you rock!
