Sims 4 Portable Computers not portable

Hi there,

After the last patch update I've noticed I'm having trouble with the portable computers not being able to be put into the sims inventories, like they used to be. Now I can only place them on a table or desk and they remain there. I can't pick them up and move them like before. They will go into the house/lot inventory, but no longer in individual sims inventories.

Can someone help me? Has anyone else had (or noticed) this problem? Is it a bug or a glitch maybe, or am I doing something wrong?

    Yes this has been going on for a LONG TIME. I don't know how to fix it  OR  GET EA TO FIX IT  You just have to keep buying new ones!!!  I use the cheat code "motherlode" to get the money if my Sims don't have enough

    @Sam-the-poet The OP solved their issue so yours might be different. Do you see exactly what OP is seeing ? Any mods/cc in your game ?
