Basically I downloaded the sims 4 seasons today and it constantly crashes. I can create a family but as soon as I try to place them into a house the game will crash while it’s in the loading screen. ...

Have you tried updating your graphics drivers and turning off Origin in-game?

Turn off Origin In-Game:
Open Origin, Select Origin > Application Settings > Origin In Game tab and click the on/off switch to disable Origin In Game. - This deactivates Origin In-Game, as it has been known to cause problems with games.
After updating the graphics drivers, restart the computer, and try playing the game again.
I am having the same trouble.
I do have some CC and one Mod.
I have tried repairing the game and restarting it twice.
I attempted to upload my DxDiag and my lastCrash - but they will not upload for some reason.
Is there any way to unload "Seasons" until we know more about what is going on? I am unwilling to risk my game until I know more about this problem.
Move your mods folder to the desktop, clear your game cache again to help with troubleshooting. Try playing the game again to test. If it loads okay, it may be that some of the mods/cc have become outdated.
You can disable packs, but you'll need to set Origin up to not try to re-download it by setting it to not update the game.
Origin > Application Settings - under client updates. Turn off automatic updates.

Disable Single Packs

Clearing the cache files seems to have worked.
I forgot to *move* the Mods folder, I only copied it - but it still worked. I ran it at speed 4 for seven Sim days and switched households and locations and stuff to make sure.
I have to admit I'm still suspicious. I think I'll wait a week or two before playing again and watch this thread to see if there are a lot others who have this problem.
