Sims 4 Sims Can't cook

I have exactly the same problem

I've had the same problem. You have to go to origin, then your games and then right-click on the sims4 icon. Click repair and it should work 🙂

Just encountered this problem.  I am trying the repair game from origin thing. 

i cant cook, but i can have a quick meal. i thought there wasnt enough space for cooking, but thats not it. i even tried selling and buying new fridges

I tried everything selling buying new cooker fridge even a new house but the solution is in origin i just fixed it

Going to Origin, right clicking on the sims 4 game and selecting Repair Game will solve the issue of your sim(s) not performing the cooking action when prompted. Just remember to save your game because you will not be able to perform the repair action if you are still playing.
