Sims 4 Started Crashing

Question

Hi all,&nbsp;So my game has always run well but over the last few days has started crashing. I can usually play for a couple of in-game days and then it'll just crash back to desktop. It does seem to happen more often when changing lots or saving, but not every time so it could just be coincidental. My laptop does get warm and a little noisy when playing, but it always has and doesn't seem any worse. I don't have any mods and I haven't installed anything new lately (except for whenever the latest patch would have been).&nbsp;I've attached my dxdiag and I've pasted the latest critical event below but it doesn't really mean anything to me. I've 'repaired' in origin but it hasn't made a difference and that's where my expertise ends I'm afraid. oRichard89o&nbsp; The critical event doesn't help much here, unfortunately.&nbsp; It basically says Sims 4 crashed because Sims 4 crashed, because it tried to do something that's not allowed.&nbsp; So I'd like to see your dxdiag, which didn't attach to your post for some reason.

oRichard89o&nbsp; Your dxdiag doesn't list any other type of Sims 4 crash, but the XBox Overlay and Alienware Command Center are both crashing as well.&nbsp; So that's where to start.
Please disable Game Mode and Game Bar, both under Windows Settings &gt; Gaming.&nbsp; And kill the Alienware Command Center in the Task Manager before you try to play; it and associated services will likely be in the background processes list.&nbsp; It will probably restart with Windows, so please remember to shut it down again if you're testing after rebooting.
If these steps don't help, please try playing with your computer offline.&nbsp; You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play.&nbsp; This will cut off your access to the Gallery and block you from redeeming login rewards but shouldn't otherwise affect how you play, except possibly addressing the crashing issue.
