My game was working fine up until Cats and Dogs came out. I can create characters and stuff but as soon as I try to play a household, I get the infinite loading screen. I dont have any expansion packs or anything, just base game and CC. I disabled the CC, and still I have the infinite loading screen. I have a CC cleaning/fix mod and also tried doing the thing whee tou download sims 4 from a website and chsnge the name to game_ and that didnt work. I contacted someone about it about 3 hours ago and haven’t gotten any responses. Idk it is an error on EA’s part, or if it’s my game but I’m really upset about this.
Well hey, try moving your Tray, Saves, Mods, and optionally your screenshots to your desktop. Then delete the sims 4 folder completely, start a new game and let it regenerate everything. Redo your custom controls and maybe adjust your sim limit then close and save and move all your Tray, Saves, and Mods back in and see what happens. It worked for me and I think once they did the update, the files got corrupted and mixed up a bit so even if you didn't get the EP you might have still gotten messed around.

hmmm.. well i can play my sims, save and exit to manage worlds, etc. when i try to share however, it just sits and spins. i finally have to do the task manager and shut it all down. i've not had this problem till today. but it is bugging the heck out of me. is this also because of the patch? anyone?
- no most are too confusing for me to attempt. and what are mods/cc's? i only use the pack items that i purchased and of course items from the gallery (homes or rooms which i usually end up re-doing sometimes).
