Question

Updated the game. Installed all add-ons and catalogs. But with diretex 11 I discovered such a problem: while loading the save, the computer completely turns off. And a few minutes at startup it does it again. I installed runtimepack without mods and the game started. I went to save. I looked and came out. But since your game is not very good for me. And its vanilla nature contradicts your slogan, play with life. I decided to try adding mods. Those that affect the gameplay have all been updated. But unfortunately they are a slightly earlier version than your latest update 142.130.

I go in and load my save with mods. And the computer shuts down again. I tried to run it through direct 9 but it crashed.

Tell me, is this the problem? Is this on my part or yours? The computer has Windows 10 and installed diretex12 drivers. Updated. Add-ons, game sets, catalogs are all installed.

@dmitriy_podolny&nbsp; Please remove all your mods and test again in a new save.&nbsp; If your computer shuts off again, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

If you want, you can test with both DirectX 9 and 11; it would be interesting to know whether one was better than the other.

I figured out the game and it turned out that it’s not your fault that my computer shuts down after loading the sims 4. I couldn’t figure out how to remove it, so I just decided to edit my message.

@dmitriy_podolny&nbsp; I've merged your new post with your old thread.&nbsp; Please try the suggestions above, and launch Sims 4 through the EA App, not through the Bin folder.&nbsp; Use DirectX 9 for now.
