sims 4 update error 1966 13:200 from origin

I'm having this problem too. I just bought sims 4 and it's really annoying not to be able to play. I've uninstalled origin a ton of times and done everyhing else I can think of. I've downloaded before with no issue, but now not even updates will come in. :mansad:

Having the same issue.Read all the online forums, tried all the fixes and nothing. My update gets to 20% then crashes. Cant do anything. Useless service from EA too!

Having the same problem, but my one is with The Sims 4 get to work.

I bought it and can't download it :-(

General Startup Issues

1. Ensure that Antivirus or security software is not blocking the launch of the game
2. Run a Repair of the game client. To do this, right-click the game panel in Origin and choose the Repair option.
3. Make sure that you run Origin and the game as administrator
4. Check that you do not have any programs running that my cause conflict with Origin
5. If that still does not help, please run a Clean Boot as this will help with stopping any other programs from interfering
6. Update your drivers 
7. Try starting the game in Windowed mode

I had error 196613:200 before, and I tried everything to reinstalling Origin , msconfig, taking down firewall, and running as admin. It took me 4 months until I can download my sims 4, and it ended up being adware. So you guys can check if that's your problem. There is one thing though, I'm now having this problem with get together and updating all my games, I checked for adware still doesn't work. Just wasted $40, someone please help for I can play.

@SassyCassie127 Hey, can you clarify what you mean by adware? What steps did you take to resolve the issue before?

If you haven't done so already, be sure to run a malware scan. 

Can you try every step in Phantomlover's post above, please double check if you missed anything?
