Sims 4 Update Fail

I have installed it and got to the stage of going to play the game. When I opened it it said I had to install an update. The update gets to 100% and then it says "finalizing update" a second or two a...

    This worked! Thank you!

    For anyone reading. Log off to completely close any sims applications & downloads open. Then when you log back on just open origins and try the update again.

    When I took this advice it worked.

Hey, please try restarting your Origin as an administrator and try again.

This did not work. Can some one please help me, I only got it yesterday and it is really frustrating that it is already stuffing up.

    Yh, This is utterly unacceptable, You realise an overpriced game with reduced features and then have to fail to update one day later. This is pathetic, I want a fix, now!
