@SkullxLily I'm guessing you're the same person as the original poster? At any rate, if you use a third-party antivirus, please disable it, temporarily of course, and clear the EA App's cache:

Then repair the game again. Don't reenable your antivirus until you've tested Sims 4 once. As long as you don't do anything else at the same time, your computer should be safe.
If that doesn't help, please go into [install location]\The Sims 4\Game and delete the Bin folder. You'll need to close the EA App and kill the EABackgroundService in the Task Manager first. Once you've deleted the folder, repair again.
If that doesn't help either, please go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and delete GameVersion.txt. That shouldn't be causing this issue, but since the file does store the game version, it's worth trying.
