I just bought the Sims 4 Vampire pack online version and when I went to download it through origin, a pop-up appeared saying to activate the game. It also called it an 'Unidentified game' if that even matters. But anyway, it's asking for a product code which I didn't seem to receive through my Order Confirmation email. I find this quite odd, all the other packs I've bought online didn't ask for the product code before. I just updated Origin, could that be a problem? Or is anyone else having this problem? Is the product code going to be sent to me later in a separate email?

Where did you buy the pack ? On Origin ?

Then you don't need a code. Just find the game on extra content on the base game

I really like it. I made one of my sims a vampire and I have her feed on her husband but I'm going to plant plasma fruit so I can feed her while he's at work. I love it! Thanks again!

when I did that it did not work and I'm getting a little mad about it. it's not that cool and that's what I bought. I also didn't get a code

Did you buy your game in Origin or from another retailer?

If logging out and logging in again didn't work, please, try to clear your Origin cache following this steps:

Instructions for Windows:

First, make sure you can view hidden files and folders:

Hit the Start button (or press Win + X for Windows 10).

Click on Control Panel.

Click on Appearance and Personalization, then Folder Options.

Click the View tab.

Under Advanced settings, click Show hidden files and folders, and click OK to save the change.

If Origin is running, close it by clicking Origin in the menu bar then Exit.

Click Start, then Computer, then double-click (C🙂 to open the C:\ drive

Open the ProgramData folder, then the Origin folder, and delete all the files and folders inside it except for LocalContent.

If you’re on Windows XP you’ll find the ProgramData folder in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application data\Electronic Arts\

Go back to C:\:

Open the Users folder,

Open the folder with your username,

Open AppData,

Then Roaming,

Then Origin

Delete all the files and folders inside.

Go back to the AppData folder:

Open the Local folder,

Open the Origin folder

Delete all the files and folders inside.

Instructions for Mac:

Open your local hard drive.

Macs have two library folders: a root level folder and a user level library folder (~). Follow the root level folder.

Open the Library folder.

You can either use the keys Command ⌘ + Shift + G or use Finder > Go > Go to Folder.

Open the Application Support folder, then open the Origin folder.

Delete the DownloadCache folder.

Empty your Trash.

Can you download and play your game now?
