Sims 4 white screen of death, missing traits panel & random exits

Hi so I’m having multiple issues since the ‘big’ update

i will go in to Create A Sim & won’t be able to choose traits, I have to randomise, exit CAS & do the cheat to get back in to choose traits

if I get that far…

my game has been experiencing the white screen of death where I can see my cursor but nothing else and I have to completely force exit. Then I start the game again and it happens again!

or if it isn’t giving my the white screen, a white screen will pop up for a second then it’ll shut the game down
