BSCG99 I would guess that your first reply was caught by the spam filter and released later (possibly manually by a community manager). If a post disappears in the future, you can always click the Report button on any other post in the thread and ask someone to look into it. You won't get anyone in trouble.
At any rate, the EA App error could cause the Sims 4 issue, so let's address that first. Please download Revo Uninstaller (the free portable version is fine) and use it to remove the App. Select the Advanced scanning method, and restart your computer when you're done. Download a fresh copy of the App installer and run it as an admin.
