When i paste the the command into powershell i get the message attached.
@StormzyFan That's fine. Does DISM run? It should start verifying and let you know when it reaches 100%. If it's just frozen like in your screenshot indefinitely, restart your computer and try again.

Okay, thanks so much for the help so far. I managed to run the DISM and the verification all went through with no errors, the system scan results are attached, it seems to be all good. I had some updates but they were only for bluetooth so that should be fine. The game still didnt run and when i checked my performance in Task manager i was using 5gs. I attached the screenshot of the startup information in task manager secondly. I would guess the memory would be my problem?

@StormzyFan I don't think that the memory use is the immediate issue. Sims 4 CAS doesn't use 3 GB RAM, or at least it shouldn't. Still, I see a few apps in the Startup tab you can disable: AdobeCollabSync, BrStMonW and TwDsUiLaunch (software for your printer), Everything, iTunesHelper. You can still open these when you want to use them; the point is they don't need to be running all the time.
For Sims 4, please create a new admin Windows account and try playing there. Make it local, as in, don't link it to your Microsoft account. You'll be able to (try to) launch the game without reinstalling anything. This is to distinguish between issues limited to your current account and more global problems.
If you still can't play, please post a new dxdiag so I can compare it to the old one and look for any new errors.
