Sims 4 will not run, needs to be installed again

EA App continues to state that Sims 4 is not installed after I reboot my machine, this is not antivirus or anything, I have to try a reinstall which fails then I can do a repair, this works and the game can be played until I restart again.  The App install directory is not the C Drive I do not see why I must reinstall the game every single time I start my computer.  This is only connected to the EA App needing to be loaded first.  Please fix this.

  • @Cisconetdude  When you say this isn't caused by an antivirus, do you mean you don't use a third-party program, or that you've checked your antivirus and don't see any signs it's flagging Sims 4?  Additionally, what is the exact location of the Sims 4 install, and is the drive it's on internal or external?  You can see the location by clicking Sims 4 in your EA App game library and selecting Manage > View properties:
