Sims 4 will not start up EA app keeps refreshing

So, I got the game, I have some DLC through steam, and some are through the EA app bundles, anytime I go to open game no matter what, it tries to open through EA, and it will never open the game. Sometimes I will get an error that the game is open when it actually is not, or the EA app will continuously open and close until I shut it down with task manager or restart pc.

All updates are up to date.

    @kayybabayy  Have you installed the game through Steam or through the EA App?  If you installed through Steam, you also need to launch through Steam, and also, any packs you own in Steam will only be accessible if you've installed through Steam.

    Regardless of your setup, try forcing the EA App to update.  Go here:

    C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop

    and launch the EAUpdater.exe.

    If you try to launch Sims 4 through Steam and it doesn't work, please restart your computer, then open both Steam and the EA App as an admin: right-click each desktop shortcut and select "Run as administrator."  Only try to open Sims 4 when both apps have completely loaded.

    So I originally went to get it through steam, and when I went to install, it had me download EA.

    Forcing the app to update, it is already up to date.

    and the last option did not work as well.

    like the game worked fine, and then two days later it wont start. I can play PvZ but not Sims
