isthisthingon901 The location of Documents is fine. Try launching the game in windowed mode instead. Open Options.ini, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, search for fullscreen (just that, not an entry with fullscreen in the name), and set it to 0 (zero).
If that doesn't help, what antivirus do you use, and does disabling it make a difference? You shouldn't go without an antivirus in general, but testing temporarily is safe as long as you don't do anything else at the same time. If the game works, you can set exceptions in your AV; I can help with that if I know which one you're using. Or if you're only using Windows Defender, disable Controlled Folder Access instead:
