sims 4 won't open after november 2020 update!!

It keeps asking me for permission. I click yes and NOTHING HAPPENS!!! The specifics that it asks is if x64 has permission to run. I've tried repairing, reinstalling EVERYTHING, cleaning the cache, ev...

UPDATE:

@crinrict  I just tried to play again and it did the same thing as it's been doing. I'm officially at a loss, because it played PERFECTLY yesterday. Now it won't even open.

The only significant thing I can think of is that my laptop had an update last night... >.>

    @ashleykj84 CHeck if it reset any settings with the windows update

      This is going to sound stupid but how do I do that? I have a feeling it might have but I'm not sure.

        @ashleykj84 Oh sorry, I meant to go through the suggestions again that worked before. Maybe the update reset any changes you made.

    @ashleykj84 this is exactly what happened to me xd i added to my antivirus exceptions, opened it all fine and then my pc updated and it won't open anymore xd
