Game or PC crashing on launch

Question

Every time I try to launch Sims 4, one of two things happens. If I'm lucky, the game "fails to launch" because of "an issue on EA's end." If I'm unlucky, my computer crashes entirely. I have no mods or CC. I have tried: clearing my cache, running as an admin, updating all drivers, repairing the game and EA app, reinstalling the game and EA app, turning off antivirus, and creating a new Documents/EA/The Sims 4 folder. If anyone has any more suggestions, please let me know. I am at my wit's end.&nbsp;

It seems to be happening to a lot of people, I did all that as well, I've even cleaned the cache too. Nothing is working, so whatever they did on their updates, I think it screwed up the game entirely.
