Sims 4 Won't Run
Whenever I try starting the game (both through the EA app and the desktop shortcut) it starts, goes to a white screen with a blue loading symbol. The screen stays up for about a minute or less than closes and goes back to the EA screen as if I closed the game myself.
I have repaired the game multiple times, restarted my computer to install pending updates, deleted all of my custom content, uninstalled/reinstalled the actual game and moved the file to the desktop so a completely new file was made when I tried running it again. Nothing works.
I sent out a message to EA twice but have not gotten any response.
Before anyone asks, I did purchase a stuff kit (the Pastel Pack so it wasn't even a large file) about 2 weeks ago and did successfully play the game a couple times after so it's not the new addition.
I do have Sims 4 on my PS4 also, but I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I enjoy playing Sims on the PC more than a console.
I just want it to work so I can play and eventually buy expansions, game packs etc. I don't want to waste my money.
Any help is appreciated!
@poegrl6661 Yes, go ahead and update the driver. If that doesn't help, or you get an error when trying to install the driver, please post a new dxdiag.
