@abbynevitt1 Please move your Mods folder to the desktop and launch the game so that it creates a new Mods folder. Download a new copy of one mod that's confirmed compatible with the current patch, and see whether it works. If it does, you can try adding one of your existing mods; if that works too, keep adding them and testing.
If none of your mods work, please let me know whether your user folder is stored on an external drive and whether you've ever moved your mods to an external and back.
it didnt work. and im not sure what an external drive is

@abbynevitt1 Try adding mods to a clean Sims 4 folder. Move the entire folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts, load the game to create a new folder, enable mods, and quit. Then download a new copy of one mod, again something confirmed compatible with the current patch, and let me know whether it works.
If you get the same error, please list your game version. Load the game to the Main Menu, where you can choose to load a save or start a new one, and look along the bottom of the screen or in the lower right corner. Please list the entire version, i.e. 1.xx.xx.xxxx.

@abbynevitt1 As a test, please try playing in a new admin account on your computer. Make it a local account, as in, don't sign into Microsoft, and don't sync with any other services you normally use. You'll ne able to login to your existing Origin account and shouldn't need to redownload anything, but your saves and other content won't be available.
