Sims and Households aren't saving to my library properly

My sims and households aren't saving to the library properly, or uploading to my gallery. I follow the usual steps to save them to my library or upload to my gallery and it says it worked, but they don't show up. I'm having this issue on a clean game, with no CC. I have Sims Tray Importer (a third party program) and when I use that all the sims and household's I've tried to save show up, so there is an issue with them just not showing up.

What can I do?

  • HI @Emelia91

I checked your gallery and there's two that are marked as CC and a few older ones.

If you're using try importer, it's possible that that's what making them being marked as cc.

    Did you upload more ?

  • I'm having the same problem..

I build a house in a different save file and I cant save.. I tried many times and nothing happened..

  •  I previously used CC but when I encountered this issue I removed it. The issue still showed up and is still happening. I can see earlier content, but not my most recent from the past week or so.

    Hi @Emelia91  and @Pastaaaa17

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

    • Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
    • Tray Folder
    • Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
    • Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
    • Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
    • Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
