Sims can't watch countdown to midnight?
I noticed this in two save games, played several updates apart and it doesn't seem to have been mentioned? I think that it may have to do with the tv, since I think that both households have the same...

It is only available as an option from 11PM. When they watch New Years TV they should automatically see it.
