Sims constantly ordering drinks

PC: Windows 11

I added a little café feature in the Tattooing Small Business my sim opened... but the sims won't stop ordering drinks. They take a drink, sip it, put it down, and then go get another before they've even finished. I had the same issue in the tiny reading nook I opened where they could drink tea and read - all they did was queue to get a tea and the amount of use kept breaking the machines.

This is building up cups/plates all over and they're barely browsing or doing other things. Even before I'd built the small business, my played sim wouldn't stop going to get brewed coffee over any food. His entire automated interactions were to go and get a drink if there was a brew available, over actual food and other needs.

Is this a bug or are all sims just obsessed with doing this?
