Sims has disappeared after latest update.

Hey guys. I'm hoping somebody can help me out with this issue. Since doing both updates to the game I haven't been able to access my saved game. When clicking on "load game", I see my character right there. Proceeding to press and entering the neighborhood, the house she lives in is empty. I've tried repairing the game, removing CC, deleting Origin. Nothing has work thus far. My characters still there when pressing load game. However, her lot is empty. The house isn't a CC house. Just a regular one from base game. I know there's been tons of issues with this latest update. Hopefully someone has a fix. Hope to hear from someone soon.

    Thanks for the advice. However, just went to check to see if I could load a backup. Only to see there’s no backups there. Behind the message is my sim right there! Just isn’t in the neighbourhood. This totally sucks ☹️

    @UsagiChan101  Try using the manual backup method described in the link.

    If you don't have any backup save files in the saves folder, which would be strange, try loading a different household in the same save and see whether your sim or her house is present when the other sims visit.  If you do find her there, immediately "save as" and rename the save, so you have a new copy of the save and the original as a backup.

    And I realize I'm not completely sure what you're describing.  If you load the save, is your sim on her home lot, but the lot doesn't have a house on it?  Or is there a house but no sim living there?

    The house is there but she’s not on the lot. It’s completely empty. I’m going to follow the link you sent me step by step and hopefully get it back!
