Sims is unplayable
After updating and downloading the new content my sims are glitching, everything is slower and my game keeps freezing and crashing intermittently cause me to force quit.

ryanmiller2611 Does this happen in a new save too? Please test for comparsion's sake. I'm not saying you need to abandon your current save, only that this is useful information.
Please also test your main save with your Mods folder removed. You don't need to save your progress.
If a new save is affected with no mods or custom content present, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
