hi, i have the same problem as the other person and i think you're misunderstanding the issue. my old mods folder still exists, but it seems like it is no longer connected to the sims game anymore. when i find my user folder, mods is there, but when i launch the game, it says my mods folder is empty. also, when i go on ea and try to find the sims file through there, the mods folder is not there, and it looks the same as the other person's file.
@liebo1 I'm not misunderstanding anything. Mods and custom content need to be inside the Sims 4 folder that the game is reading. If the files are anywhere else, for example in another Sims 4 folder the game is no longer using, those mods won't load. That's why I asked the original poster to go in-game and find the full file path to the user folder.
Please do that as well, as described here:
https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2018/07/how-to-find-your-user-folder/
Then put your mods in that same folder, and it does need to have exactly the same file path as you see in-game.
If you're not sure what you're looking at, post that file path here, and also post the file path to one of your mods. For the latter, right-click the file and select Properties > General, then list the Location.
