Sims needs dropping awfully quick

recently my sims needs just seem to drop rather fast? My sims cant sleep until the bar is full without starving down to thed red/yellow area.

When they drink they instantly have to pee down in the red :S and whenever something is in the yellow area it takes 3 seconds to go into the red.

  • Do you have any mods? A mod may be interfering with the May patch.

  • I too have noticed this that after a patch, my SIMS seem to have the meters downward spiral.  They also seem to lose their friendhip's and lover's levels quickly.  I don't have a possible solution for this, but I notice that it improves over time.  I have noticed that once I switch households, the problem does not persist any more.  I'm not sure, but a possible 'work around' may be to switch households for a couple SIM days, then go back to the household you want to play.

Something with the patches, in my experience, seems to make the SIMS being played 'brand new'.  It reminds me of previous SIMS games where the SIMS at the very beginning of existence seemed to have no bladder, no way to have fun, always getting hungry etc etc until they completed certain actions a few times.  With TS4 updates I've had woohoo, that didn't even fill the fun meter completely.  I've had to resort to rocket riding or a gaming mat to fulfil fun needs.  I have not switched to new households right away to test my theory, I've just played 'through it'.

Yeah! D: It happened after the may update on mine too, before that I've had no problem with their needs.

After the may update however... my sims cant really fill their sleep bar without either pissing themself or starving to death. =/

I do! But they have never been an issue with the game before, unless... something in the may update has now caused them to interfer with one another. :S

I have tried to use the game without mods, and the problem with their needs still seem to be there.

Every patch can make a mod not work anymore.

Mods change files and if EA changes something about the same file to fix an issue, the EA change is overwritten by the one from the mod hence making the game not work properly. Mods need to be update so check if your mods are still compatible (creators usually post if they are on their sites) and if necessary, update them.
