Sims unable to cook on stove

After the most recent update, my Sims are unable to cook anything in the kitchen except if they use the pressure cooker. I’ve tried repairing my game, taking out half my mods and playing, but everything is still grayed out. I don’t have the Simple Living lot challenge on and it happens with every household in my most recent saves. Help please
