Sims won't do anything which I do not control. If I leave a sim at the house and leave with any other sim, the sims I left at house will stop doing anything whatever he or she was doing. In fact I find them started to watch tv or play computer when I switch control to that sim. Same thing happens If I leave with other sims on vacation or at their work. I have uninstalled the game several times but the same thing happens every time. I don't use any mods or never have used any.

@Mysterygem45 What are the settings for Free Will in your options ? Should be under game play.Maybe free will is only on for the active Sim.

What is free will? And where will I find it? Is it a option in the settings menu?

Make sure you load your save game, then click on the three dots in the upper right corner to open the options menu From there click on gameplay and check the settings for Autonomy Make sure it's set to full. You can also disable the autonomy for the currently active Sim (the one with the plumbob)

I have tried as you say. But it is not working.

@Mysterygem45 If you start a new save game for testing purposes, do you have the same issue there ?

Yes. If I start a new save game same thing happens. Even if I reinstall the game and play a new save game same thing happens.

@Mysterygem45 Oh, you mean they do something else when you come back to your lot ? Think there's several threads on this around. Don't think there's a solution to that.

That they don't have a queue while you're not playing them is normal.
