Sims won't go to work in singing career

I recently installed the Sims 4 singing mod and I've been trying to use it on one of my sims but she won't go to work. I click the go to work button repeatedly but she doesn't register it. Are the recent updates keeping mods from working correctly?

    @YNJollof Sounds like the mod wasn't updated for the latest patch.

    You will need to talk to the creator to see if they plan to update.
