Sims won't save

As far as I've been able to tell no one else is having this issue.

Since the last update my game will not save my sims or lots no matter what I remove or try. I even wiped all my custom content out, deleted my saved game, and deleted some of the sims and lots I'd previously saved to no avail. They seem to upload fine to the online gallery when the save box goes away (sometimes it stays until I finally am forced to restart the entire game) they just won't show up in my own which makes it frustrating when I want to save a family to work on later.
