Sims4 Origin to EA app
Hi,
My daughter went to play her SIMS game (which she hasnt played for months) and it says she needs to downloand EA app. Tried, but her laptop wont let her install because of something to do with her Windows suddenly being faulty.
She now has a new laptop, we have downloaded the EA app along with SIMS but there is no previous game plays. I have seen how to get previous game plays from old laptops BUT they are all EA app to EA app. Is there a way to transfer Origin game play to the EA app and it work?
my daughter is devastated at the idea of losing all of her families and homes!

I moved your post from the EA app boards to the Sims 4 boards, as the issue is not related to the EA app.
Regarding the situation you're in; this is working as intended, as the in-game progress of The Sims 4 is only saved locally and not in the cloud (this is due to its size).
If you still have access to the old laptop, you might still be able to find the saves in the "C:\Users\<YourName>\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves" folder, after which you maybe can transfer them over to the new laptop.
