Sims4 won't launch in EA app
I'm trying to get the EA app up and running so I can play Sims4 before Origin is no longer able to. I have repaired the game. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing changes. It still tries to l...
I was playing sims today (like I have been for the past 2 weeks) and my dog was under my desk and stepped on the power strip that my pc was plugged into and switched the power strip switch off. I turned my pc back on and tried to load my sims game back up. It'll start loading on ea like it's trying to open, but after a minute or 2 it says it failed to launch the game, that it's on their end and to try again later. Like I said, I was playing sims for the past 2 weeks with no problems until the power source got cut off from my pc abruptly (idk if that can harm the pc in any way) but anyways, I tried to repair my game through ea, but when I click the repair button it does absolutely nothing. Same with the uninstall button. I deleted my sims game through the Control Panel and reinstalled hoping that would fix my problem; however, it did not. I moved my mods folder to my desktop to see if it was my mods preventing it to run. That didn't work either. I went to my firewall to make sure ea and sims had permissions activated. That didn't work. Before uninstalling the game, I checked the cache, but nothing was in there. I haven't deleted my cache before, so I thought that was weird. When I tried to launch sims through my pc desktop it first said I didn't own the game. After uninstalling thru Control Panel and trying to launch again thru desktop, it brought me to the ea desktop saying the same it couldn't launch.
@emergingpig11 Please clear the EA App's cache:

and restart your computer again.
If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
