I'm trying to get the EA app up and running so I can play Sims4 before Origin is no longer able to. I have repaired the game. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing changes. It still tries to launch then a box pops up saying Your game failed to launch and to double check my connection or try later. Do I need to change something in my settings? Please help!
Hi! So i moved the folder from the documents>electronic arts folder and the game finally launched. but how do i get to play with cc and mods again?
@imsorrysora You'll need to test your mods and custom content to see which ones are preventing Sims 4 from working properly. If you have a lot of them to sort through, the 50/50 method can make the process much more efficient:

Once you've done that, you can move the contents of saves and Tray to the new Sims 4 folder, plus Screenshots and Recorded Videos if you care about those. The rest can be discarded.
I am having the same issue. Every other game in my library works. Sims 4 won't load. It states it's preparing to launch [the ea app states it] but then nothing happens. I've tried everything from new drivers, repairing both the game and the app, clearing caches, resetting my computer to factory settings, running both the app and game in admin, running the game in compatibility mode... everything. Nothing works. I've even contacted EA support and they don't know how to help me..
