Ever since the last update my game takes FOREVER to load. I took my mods out, restarted, repaired everything and my game still takes forever to load up like it’s in the dial up era.
I also have an issue where I try to save my lot into my library or onto the gallery it will not do either. The library issue I’ve had for a while but not the gallery.
My computer has taken a total turn and works for the worse. This all started when I downloaded the last update…
i had the same problem go into the sims setting and change it to dx9 for some reason dx11 doesn’t work
emilymelanson As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs.
If this doesn't help, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
For the Gallery issue, please describe what happens when you try to upload an item. If you get an error, post a screenshot of it.

I did as you suggested and still slow. I also did the windows R thing as well and everything came with no issues 🥴
emilymelanson I need to see the dxdiag for myself. "No issues" doesn't mean no issues—the dxdiag only flags a narrow range of problems but shows evidence of a lot more, should they be present.
