slow game performance

I need help. Here's the problem: The game is running slowly. It can't keep up with the mouse, making it impossible to do almost anything extra. The camera only moves after a few seconds, like other ...

    Cecyilly​  I apologize for the late reply; I've been away from the forums for a bit.

    If you still need help, please try playing immediately after restarting your computer, with nothing else open aside from the EA App.  If the game still runs badly, try a new save, for comparison's sake.

    If the new save is fine, try playing your main household on a different lot, either a blank one or a default EA-made build, nothing from the Gallery or your own library.  You don't need to save your progress.

    If the new save is affected, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
